McDaniel House Group
Come do life together in community!
Located just south of Ligonier, this group meets every other Tuesday at 6:30 PM to share a meal, encourage one another, pray together, and grow in faith. Everyone is welcome, though the group is especially geared toward middle-aged adults and couples with older or adult children who are looking to build meaningful friendships and deepen their walk with Christ.
Children are welcome to attend; however, because the hosts' children are primarily middle school through adult ages, there are limited toys and activities available for younger children.
The hosts also have three small, friendly dogs that are part of the family. They can be kept separate from the group if needed to help everyone feel comfortable.
Whether someone is new to NCCC or has been around for years, this is a great place to connect, belong, and grow alongside others in a welcoming and relaxed environment.
About your hosts
Julie and Andrew are married with five kids in their blended family, ranging from ages 12 to 24. Andrew works in school finance, and Julie is a school-based occupational therapist. They enjoy supporting their kids in all their endeavors, which these days means lots of basketball and marching band, as well as family time, swimming, traveling, hiking, music, exercise, and some very amateur pickleball!
Their hope for this group is simply to connect with other adults and grow together in their relationships with God. All spiritual backgrounds and stages of life are welcome. Life is full of ups, downs, changes, and different seasons, and they believe there is so much value in navigating it together, learning from one another, supporting one another, and building genuine relationships along the way. Julie and Andrew don’t consider themselves experts or people who have all the answers. They’re simply fellow travelers who hope to create a comfortable place where everyone can grow closer to God and one another.
