Mission

Vision. Mission. Values.

OUR VISION
___
Jesus said in, Mathew 28:19-20 - “Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all that I have commanded you. And behold, I am with you always, to the end of the age.”
Our vision, our goal, our reason for existing as a church is to make disciples. Nothing more. Nothing less.

OUR MISSION
___
Our mission is to make disciples of Jesus. To discover how to make disciples, we must examine the lives of the first Christ followers in the book of Acts. Acts 2:42-47.

When we read about the first followers of Jesus, we see that they did four things.
1 - GATHER as saints and seekers.
2 - GROW in groups.
3 - GIVE to God’s kingdom.
4 - GO back into their world.
Why is this important for us today? Why is this our mission?

There are four reasons why gathering, growing, giving, and going will be so important for us as Noble County Community Church. The following are four reasons that motivate us to make these a priority in our community.

1 - GATHER:
“Gathering is always worth your time.”
We believe that gathering together is always worth our time, because when we come together to worship the one eternal God and learn his eternal truths, will leave empowered to go make an eternal difference in our family, friends, and community.

2 - GROW:
“Growth happens best in a group.”
There is something very powerful about sharing time together in an organic small group setting while focusing on God’s word. Sharpening and growth happens best when we meet in some form of small group together to look at Gods word, eat a meal, talk, and pray together.

3 - GIVE:
“Giving to God’s kingdom is the greatest financial investment we can ever make.”
When we give to the work of his kingdom through tithes and offerings we are giving children, teenagers, and adults of all ages the opportunity to hear the good news of Jesus Christ and be changed from the inside out.

4 - GO:
“Jesus saved you from your sins to GO fulfill his purpose.”
Jesus did not just save you from the punishment of your sins. He saved you to take the gifts He has placed inside of you and use them to go shine a bright light into your world. We want to take what HE has in us and allow HIM to work through us.

OUR VALUES
___
In Acts 2:42-47 we see what the first Christians valued and devoted themselves to on a regular basis; The Bible, fellowship, breaking bread, and prayers. Because they valued these four things and made them a priority in their private and corporate life as believers, God moved mightily. The lost were saved, the saved were discipled, and the discipled impacted their world. Here at Noble County Community Church we value and devote ourselves to the same four things as individuals and a corporate body of believers.

1 - THE BIBLE
We will not waver from correct teaching of God’s word, building everything we do upon it.

2 - FELLOWSHIP
Life change happens in community. Whether online, organic, or onsite, we will embrace fun and fellowship in all of our groups, gatherings, and experiences.

3 - BREAKING BREAD
There is something powerful that happens when we share a meal together. While eating around the table walls begin to be tore down and trust begins to be built up.

4 - PRAYER
Prayer is the conduit that connects us together with God. In all of our meetings, gatherings, groups, and experiences we will make prayer a priority.
